Rapper Kodak Black among 4 people shot in California

The South Florida rapper known as Kodak Black was among four people shot early Saturday outside a restaurant in West Hollywood, California.

Los Angeles police said the 24-year-old rapper, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, and the other three victims were hospitalized in stable condition.

Police don't know exactly what sparked the fight outside the club.

Police are seeking a Black male suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.

Bill Kahan Kapri, better known by his stage name Kodak Black, is an American rapper.

He gained initial recognition with his single "No Flockin", released in 2014.

His debut album, Painting Pictures, peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard 200 and included the Billboard Hot 100 top ten single "Tunnel Vision".

According to footage of the shooting obtained by TMZ.....................

Kodak Black was leaving the restaurant with an entourage that included friend and rapper Gunna.

In the footage, they paused to pose for photos with fans.

Surrounded by over a dozen paparazzi, a confused fistfight amongst a group of men standing around a red Ferrari....

Kapri was originally born Dieuson Octave and, the AP reported, had by age 21 amassed an extensive rap sheet.
