Five storylines to watch at the 148th Kentucky Derby

In the wake of postponing the Kentucky Derby to September in 2020 

Running it last May before a restricted group...

Saturday will be the first back-to-ordinary Run for the Roses in three years.

A gigantic horde of 150,000 or more is supposed to watch the 148th version of the race, 

However, it will not be totally similar to what it was before the COVID-19 pandemic.

That is on the grounds that Bob Baffert, the six-time Derby champ, had his seventh triumph last year stripped 

When Medina Spirit was precluded after a positive test for betamethasone, a calming that is prohibited on race day.

Because of that offense, which Baffert has denied and battled energetically yet fruitlessly through different lawful cures, 

He's been prohibited from running ponies at Churchill Downs for a long time. 

Two ponies that began in his horse shelter are here, however, in Taiba and Messier. 

They are at present being taken care of by Tim Yakteen — a previous Baffert colleague
