Best Marvel’s ‘Doctor Strange 2 Preview 2022.

Marvel’s next big cinematic event might not be about Earth’s Mightiest Heroes anymore, but it does tie directly into the upcoming Avengers 4 and Marvel’s Phase 4 slate of movies—and maybe even Spider-Man: Far From Home as well. The studio announced the next Doctor Strange movie last year, with Scott Derrickson returning to direct and Benedict Cumberbatch reprising his role as Stephen Strange (and also playing The Ancient One). The new marvel film will be titled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and begin filming this summer.

How Iron Man is Back?

After his brief but brutal captivity by Thanos, Tony Stark is returning to his Iron Man persona. Tony has been such a huge part of Marvel’s film franchise (played by Robert Downey Jr.), that it can be hard to remember what life was like before he suited up.

Now that there’s been a break between Avengers movies, Marvel has found time to develop storylines for other characters, specifically Dr. Stephen Strange and Spider-Man: Far From Home.

The former is getting his own origin story in November with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, while Spider-Man will be teaming up with Iron Man on a globe-trotting adventure after releasing next week.

Both films have some pretty big stars attached to them, including Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange and Tom Holland as Spidey.

It looks like they’ll both be making appearances in Avengers: Endgame, too! Here are all of the details you need about these upcoming films—plus when you can see them! Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness When does Dr. Strange come out?

Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hits theaters on Nov. 6, 2019 (that’s just two weeks after Fantastic Beasts.

3!). What happens? We know very little about Dr. Strange 2 at this point, but we do know that it takes place inside multiple universes rather than just one reality—hence its subtitle Multiverse of Madness.

This makes sense considering how much time Dr. Strange spent traveling through alternate dimensions in Infinity War trying to find Thanos and fix reality (as well as get back at him).

Where is it taking place? According to Entertainment Weekly, most of Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will take place in London.

That said, it sounds like we’ll also spend some time in Hong Kong and San Francisco—but not as much as Dr. Strange did during his solo movie. Who’s starring?

Benedict Cumberbatch returns to play Dr. Stephen Strange once again, along with Chiwetel Ejiofor (who plays Baron Mordo) and Rachel McAdams (who plays Christine Palmer).

They’re joined by Michael Stuhlbarg, who plays Nicodemus West; Scott Adkins, who plays Lucian; Benjamin Bratt, who plays Sise-Neg; and Mads Mikkelsen, who played Kaecilius last time around.

We Have A Full Trailer For Marvel Studios’ Next One.

It looks like Marvel Studios has a slate planned that goes through 2019.

We saw them announce and release three movies throughout 2018 (Ant-Man and The Wasp, Black Panther, and Avengers: Infinity War), but they’ve got another five planned for 2019 too.

One of those is Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, which will be released on May 7th next year. While we don’t have an official trailer yet, we do have a teaser trailer showing us what’s to come, and it looks really good!

The cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Benedict Wong as Wong, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West, and Scott Adkins.

This movie sees our favorite sorcerer supreme taking on Nightmare who he defeated back in his first movie (but you knew that already).

If you’re not familiar with Nightmare then let me explain – he’s one of Dr. Strange’s arch enemies and also happens to be the ruler of all evil dreaming things so he can make dreams into nightmares if he wants to – pretty cool right?

I think so anyway! There are also some other bad guys in there called The Dread Dormammu and Zom who are apparently major players in Dr. Strange lore.

The main bad guy though seems to be Nightmare, who is going around messing up people’s sleep patterns because he hates being imprisoned by Dr. Strange…and maybe because he just likes messing with people! Anyway.

Check out the new poster below along with some new images from the movie which should give you a better idea of what to expect when it comes out later next year!

What do you think about Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness? Are you excited for more magic from Dr. Strange or would you rather see him team up with Spider-man again instead?

Who Is Nightmare And What Is The Nightmare Realm?

Nightmare is a cosmic entity from an ancient race known as The Empirikul. He is associated with Doctor Strange throughout time, taking over his body and using it to spread Nightmare across reality.

In Marvel Comics, Nightmare was first introduced in Dr. Strange vol. 1 #110 (November 1966), created by Stan Lee.

Steve Ditko… With over 3-million views on the trailer released to promote his origin story feature film, Dr.Strange in The Multiverse of Madness, here are five things we learned about him for sure…

Dr Strange 2

Maybe even one thing that wasn’t so clear after all.

Dr. Strange Wasn’t Always Stephen Strange: Throughout most of Dr.Strange’s comics, he has been portrayed as an adult character – with no mention or history of his childhood or younger years before becoming Sorcerer Supreme.

Although Dr. Strange doesn’t have any recollection of who he was prior to becoming Dr. Strange,

Fans know he has always been called Stephen Strange because there were mentions throughout different issues that someone named Stephen used to be part of Morgan Le Fay’s coven…

However, just last year, comic book writer Jason Aaron confirmed through Twitter that Stephen will never be mentioned again: That is not gonna happen, said Aaron when asked if he would ever bring up Stephen again in future issues.

This means we might never know what happened to Stephen! Dr. Strange Used To Be Called Dr. Steven Strange: Although Dr.Strange goes by Stephen today, during his early days in comics, he went by Dr. Steven Strange instead.

So what happened? Well, it turns out that during a period where almost every hero had two names (Spiderman, Ironman, etc.), Dr.Steven became too confusing and difficult to remember for readers – thus changing his name forevermore!

The film also stars Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, and Benedict Wong as Wong.

The film follows his 2008 debut, Jon Favreau’s Iron Man.: Four years after Avengers:

Dr strange has had quite an interesting journey so far in his short tenure within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Starting out as a neurosurgeon whose hands were damaged beyond repair in a car accident, Dr. Strange turned to magic and became Earth’s Sorcerer Supreme.

His first two solo movies were well received by critics and fans alike but that wasn’t enough for Marvel Studios which thought there was room for improvement which lead them to hire Sinister director Scott Derrickson who helmed both previous entries Doctor Strange and its 2016 predecessor.

I mean it when I say this movie is bonkers, Derrickson told Empire.

I think we should say right here, right now: if you are looking for logic…maybe you should call before you show up. Because you’re definitely going to get surprises.

It’s been a busy week for Dr. Stephen Strange. First, he got a new logo (and maybe an umbrella too, who knows?), and now we know when his next big adventure is going to hit theaters!

Marvel revealed on Wednesday that Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released on May 7, 2020—in 3D and IMAX 3D—via Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

From there, it’ll open day and date around the world. The film will also feature Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Benedict Wong as Wong, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, and Mads Mikkelsen as Kaecilius.

I think we should say right here, right now: if you are looking for logic…maybe you should call before you show up, said Derrickson. Because you’re definitely going to get surprises.

The film was originally scheduled to open on November 6th but has been pushed back nearly two months by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

It became clear that wasn’t going to work, he said, because of what we wanted to do with it. Derrickson added that he and his team had only just begun working on the movie when they learned about Disney’s plans for Captain Marvel.

which will be released a week before Doctor Strange 2.

We had no idea when they were going to announce that movie, he said. We were just finishing up our first draft [of Doctor Strange 2].

I got a call from them saying, ‘By the way, there’s an issue.’ So we moved off of that date. With all due respect for Captain Marvel—which looks like it could be great—, that is some pretty awesome news!
