Aditya Narayan quits hosting after Sa Re Ga Ma Pa finale; says, ‘I bid adieu to my hosting duties to a show that gave me my own identity’ – Times of India ►

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s finale was held on Sunday (March 6) and Nileenjana Ray was announced as the winner. Host Aditya Narayan, who shares a special connection with this singing reality show, is emotional about not hosting the show anymore.

Aditya Narayan shared some special moments from Sa Re Ga Ma Pa‘s grand finale on his social media along with a heartfelt note. The photos involved him with his veteran singer-father Udit Narayan, judges Shankar Mahadevan, Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani, and the contestants. The caption read: “With a heavy heart, I bid adieu to my hosting duties to a show that gave me my own identity as an adult, SaReGaMaPa. From an 18 year old teenager to a young man with a beautiful wife & baby daughter! 15years. 9 seasons. 350 episodes🤯 Time really does fly. Thank you Neeraj Sharma, my soul brother 👊🏼 The best is yet to come! ❤️🙏🏼”

Vishal Dadlani commented on Aditya’s post and requested him to contemplate his decision of quitting hosting unless he’s doing some great music. Vishal wrote, “Man…kya boloon? Your first SRGMP was my first SRGMP too, and for whatever its worth…I hope you change your mind. Or, that the music you make is so incredibly loved and successful that you don’t have the time to do TV!! That, I can live with. Jaa, Adi….Jee le apni zindagi! Love you man! 🤗”

Aditya’s close friend Nia Sharma and many others from the fraternity wished him luck for future and his fans are upset about not being able to see him hosting shows anymore.

On the personal front, Aditya welcomed a baby girl on February 24 with wife Shweta Agarwal. Talking about this experience of parenthood, he had exclusively told BT, “Everyone kept telling me that it would be a baby boy. But I secretly hoped that we would have a baby girl. I believe fathers are closest to their daughters, and I am happy that my little girl has arrived. Shweta and I feel extremely blessed that we are parents now.”
